BEHIND THE BOOK
I’M LINDSAY, and I LOVE TO SHARE my love of conservation, literacy, and mental health in all my work.
In the Air Force “Bones” is my name, and outside the Air Force creativity is my game!
I have spent ten years in the military focusing my creative energy within the realm of national security.
My time in the Air Force has taught me the importance of mental health. My time as a military brat taught me the significance of literacy. My time traveling the world has taught me the value of conservation.
My heart in: Conservation
My love of: Literacy
My support for: Mental Health

Highlights Foundation
Lindsay was recently one of 58 authors and illustrators selected for the Highlight Foundation Scholarship.
“The Highlights Foundation has just awarded scholarships to 58 aspiring and established children’s authors and illustrators…
..While the scholarships will be awarded now and used in 2023-2024, the investment that the HighlightsFoundation is making in these storytellers is designed to have a longer-term, broader impact. That’s because the investment is rooted in the work that these authors and illustrators are doing to inspire kids through story.
