Angel at Yellow Sub

I was stunned by the beauty of the French Angelfish at the Yellow Submarine reef in Bonaire. They were the size of charger plates, haughtily gliding through the water and around coral and sponge. I could watch them forever!

All of my aquatic art begins as a sketch made underwater while I scuba dive. Upon the conclusion of the dive, I bring my sketches to the surface and separately paint the scenes which unfolded on the reef.

This work is custom framed under UV-filtering glass.
