Stags and Squids at 1,000 Steps

Featured in the gallery reveal of the inaugural season of the documentary series Artisan Air, this painting was created during my time scuba diving in Bonaire. I was inspired by a squid who looked into my soul as their friends frolicked through Staghorn corals (a critically endangered coral). It was a moment of pure bliss: me, the squid, the coral and the sea.
